Widmer World A Must See!!!

If you live in Nor Cal next year add Widmer World in Pleasanton to your list of places to visit! It is adorable! We went to visit Widmer World on December 23 with our friends. George loved it! He is so good about waiting in line to get into places. They also had Santa, so George was so excited to see Ho one more time. The line to tour the back yard was about a 15 minute wait. It was well worth the wait. 

This place has their entire backyard set up with numerous Christmas displays. One display had Dept 56 houses, another had all Disney characters, santas, snowmen etc. It was a huge backyard for California standards and it was jam packed! The owners said it takes them at least 2 months to set up the entire backyard.

I can't believe you are 3 years old today! It feels like just a few weeks ago I was waiting for your dad to send me a text if you were a boy or a girl. 

My First Friend in CA!

Do you ever meet someone and click right away? My first friend in California was Cindy and we clicked as soon as we met. We quickly became bestest friends. I met Cindy within a couple days of moving to California back in 2004. Cindy worked for my former employer client.

When Art asked me out on a date on valentines I turned him down because I already has plans. I was celebrating "hate" day with Cindy. I hated valentines and she spent it with me over a plate of nachos.

She has been there help me during my quarter life crisis in my 20's, celebrate the good times, offered support during the difficult times. The past 8 years she has been there through the ups and downs of life. I can always count on her.

We've had so many fun times together. Wedding shopping - filling up our cars full of stuff. Wild nights of nachos and Target. Or just a cup of peppermint mocha from Starbucks.

Through all my pregnancy and miscarriages she has been there. She gets excited every time and hopes with me this is the time. When it isn't the time she is there for support. She always tells me to hold on to that hope.

Cindy is an amazing wife and mother. I love hearing her conversations with Libby. She talks to Libby like an adult. It's so adorable! She has the patience of a saint! Sometimes I look at her and hope one day I have half the patience with a child that she does with Libby.

I'm so thankful my first California friend turned into a life long friend!!!!

Today Libby turns TWO!!!!!  Happy Birthday Libby Lou! 

Libby Lou!

Little Libby is just the cutest thing!!! She always makes me laugh!  Last time I watched her I called her Libby Lou.  The next day she kept saying Libby Lou.  Cindy asked her who called you Libby Lou?  She replied BECKY.  Cindy asked me the next time I saw them did you call her Libby Lou. lol

She likes to take pictures & then look at them.  When we took the picture with out tongues sticking out she laughed so hard. Just the cutest thing!

SPLITS!

Last weekend I watched Libby for the evening.  She recently learned how to do the splits toddler style.  It was soooo cute!  She would yell SPLITS! Grab on to the table and stretch her legs out.

BOOM!  This is what happens when you do the splits too many times! lol

Last weekend I got to babysit for little Miss Libby. Her parents had an engagement party to attend. She was soooo adorable! She was talking like crazy. I think I tired her out with all the pictures I took of her that evening. She is such a good baby!
