Last weekend Amber and Marcus got married. I am still trying to recover from my crazy week. I should return to blogging regularly next week. Here are a few pictures from the wedding. It was a beautiful day.

The grandson and me matched! It wasn't planned either.

I'm a mother in law!

Last weekend Amber & Marcus got married in Tahoe. Here are a few pictures I took with my phone. I'm still in the process of downloading pictures from my camera.

I've been trying to convince Marcus he should change his last name instead of Amber. It's not going over very well lol

I will post more wedding pictures in the next week.

Mother of the Bride Dresses

I went to David's Bridal last week to try on some bridesmaid dresses for Lacey's wedding. Lacey gave me 2 options to pick from and luckily one of them was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised to find out I needed a smaller size than I thought.  The dress is soooo comfortable and I know I will wear it again. I can't wait to get my dress!

While I was there I decided to look for some dresses for my mom. I am sorry, but the mother of the bride/groom dresses are HORRIFIC!!!! Who designs these things? Some of them were so awful no one would ever leave the house in them. I tried to grab some pictures from David's Bridal website, but they have the stealing picture option blocked. Hey people I would have linked back to you. :)

Here are the dresses I did find and send to my mom. I also took pictures of the tags, so she can easily find them in the store. One thing I really like at DB is the fact they have the style # on hanging tags, so it is easy to find the dress. I think these dresses would be very flattering on her. Hopefully she will go try them on soon =)

Cupcakes, Cupcakes & more Cupcakes....

My mom filled and decorated all 300 cupcakes for my cousins wedding back on September 1. Art and I arrived in PA around 9am on August 31. We had taken a red eye flight and barely got any sleep.

Each of the cupcake liners had to be assembled and put around the cupcakes. My mom then filled each cupcake with either raspberry or marshmallow fluff. After that part was done she started icing the cupcakes. Once they were iced each cupcake was decorated with glitter and pearls. As each tray was completed we hauled them into the dinning room.

The day of the wedding we woke up early and hauled all 300 cupcakes from my aunts house to the reception hall. My mom then set up all 300 cupcakes on the cake table.  Below are pictures of our cupcake adventures for the first 24 hours.

It takes the whole family to help get all these cupcakes decorated!

Mom with the beautiful cupcake table!

I wanted my picture with the cupcakes, since I helped decorate them.

Saturday Pinterest

In honor of celebrating our Anniversary this week I thought I would go with a wedding theme for today!  I think I might be feeling sickly because I wish I could replan our wedding. I want a wedding redo. lol I loved our wedding, but I have so many more ideas. Planning our wedding was almost as stressful as buying our house. I think the house won in the end.

Back to being in love and thinking of weddings.....

I love this picture and her dress! So beautiful!

I love the idea of people just sitting where they want. We didn't have people sit on a certain side at our wedding other than our parents.

Isn't her hair so pretty, but simple

Cute idea for a fan & program

Happy Anniversary to US!

4 years ago we said "I Do"

Hard to believe we have been married for 4 years already. Although our wedding day seems like 100 years ago too. The day was filled with so much love. We had so many of our close friends and family members by our side.

and lets not forget the wedding crashers! The couple below showed up at our wedding. I had no idea who they were. I asked Art...he then asked his mom. Turns out it was a couple his mom knew that found out about the wedding and showed up.

When Art and I decided to get married we were in it for the long haul. We figured we would probably be married about 40 years. That would take us to Art being 80 and me 67. That seems like an eternity right now, but the last 4 years have flown by.  Here is to another 36 years of marital bliss!!!!
