Makeup

What kind of makeup do you use daily?  I have some of my favorites I thought I would share with you.  I do not spend a lot on make and I do not wear foundation.  I spend about $75 per year on make up.  I discovered about 5 yrs ago my face breaks out constantly when I wear any type of foundation.  I wear it on rare occasions and usually wear Ulta brand foundation.

My favorite eyeshadow are Sephora brand.  They cost $12 and they last about a year.  I wear eyeshadow 6 days a week on average.  I like an eyeshadow that stays on & looks good after 8 hours of work.  My favorite color is Choco Express 19.  It's a dark chocolate with flakes of silver.  Below is a picture of the color.  I also included the blue shadow to show you the container the eyeshadow comes in.  You can find the eyeshadow here.

Currently I am using a Sephora brand blush.  I am not very picky on blush or the brand.  I have the WORST time finding a blush that will stay on for more than 2-3 hours.  I use to use Lorac Cheek Stamp.  It stayed on almost all day long & was the BEST; however, they discontinued it.  I have been using Sephora brand ever since.  I change up the color when I buy a new one.  This blush lasts about a year also.  Sephora brand make up last forever for only $12.

I wear eyeliner every.single.day no matter what!!! Unless I am deathly sick I wear eyeliner.  It's my essential every day item.  I need eyeliner like people need coffee!  Recently I tried Ulta brand eyeliner.  I really like it!!!!  It's very black & lasts all day long.  Revlon Color Stay is also a great liner!  Revlon Color Stay runs about $7+ per pencil.  Ulta you can find on sale for $2 each.  Great price for a great eyeliner! 

I have 2 favorites when it comes to face wash.  I really like Clinique liquid facial soap and Dove soap.  I think they both are great products.  Clinique can run about $15 per bottle & Dove soap is $1-2 a bar.  I just ran out of my Clinique face wash, so I am using Dove.

 My favorite eye makeup remove is Avon Moisture Effective Eye Makeup Remover Lotion.  It costs $4 per bottle & the bottle lasts me almost a year.  It removes black eyeliner with no problem. This is a great product!

 

I wear mascara every day also, but I buy whatever I find on sale or have a coupon to purchase.  I am not picky when it comes to mascara.  I don't wear lipstick or lip gloss very often.  I do wear the above items at least 6 days a week.  I always wear some type of make up.  My dad use to get upset with me because he would ask me to come help him in the field & I would put on make up.  He would say no one is out there why do you need make up?  Once I started to wear make up I felt naked without it.

I replace my eyeliner & mascara on the 10th of every 3 months.  I throw out whatever is left.  Eyeliner & mascara start to grow a bacteria after awhile.  Smell your mascara sometime if you have had it more than 3 months...it smells NASTY!
