Running through Mud Puddles!

My mom sent G a pair of camo rain boots. He LOVES those things! He likes to wear them with shorts, jeans, no pants and pajamas. They are his favorite shoes he owns. I took him up to a little river in a park near our house. I thought it would be fun to go walk around in the water in our rain boots. I pulled mine out and away we went for some fun.

He found lots of rocks.

He had a blast running through this little mud puddle.

I will admit I even had fun walking through the mud puddle. I LOVE to drive through big puddles of water. When I had a truck I use to go flying through puddles. I was a little worried what if he fell down in the mud puddle? Then I just thought whats the worst thing I strip him down and he rides naked the little drive we have home. Thankfully he didn't fall down. He had so much fun. When we got to the car his boots were full of water, pants were went, but he had a lot of fun.

Monday Thrive!

Happy Memorial Day! I hope everyone is having a fabulous holiday weekend.

1) I wrote a blog post that will come out on Friday about potty training G. I had 2 things on my new years resolution list that I wanted to complete for G. Potty training him and taking away his bottles. I was happy to put check marks by them now that they are completed. I expected it to be a horrible week once we took the bottles away, but honestly it was only 1 horrible bedtime. The rest of the time if he got upset I was able to distract him. I also thought maybe he would drink less milk without a bottle. Turns out we have been going through more milk. One of the reasons I waited so long to take away his bottle was because I felt he needed the extra calories from milk.

2) Summer vacations are already starting! Have you bought sunscreen for this summer? Even if you are staying home this summer you will still need sunscreen. BeautyCounter's sunscreen does not have any harmful chemicals and it is safe for the entire family! I keep the stick in my purse, so I have sunscreen with us at all times. Protect your skin!

3) What did we do before there was Google or Youtube? I use Google a bazillion times a day.  I recently bought a stroller second hand. I needed to know how to fold it, move the seats, and even how to open it once it was folded. I was able to Youtube all the instructions.

I have used a Bob Revolution Stroller since G was born. Well let me say I have had like 5 strollers. Over time I have gotten rid of some. The first one I bought was a Bugaboo. It was my dream stroller. Once I had it for a year I got rid of it. I liked it, but I liked my Bob and Maclaren a lot better.

I have been babysitting for a little baby for a couple weeks. I like to go on walks. I needed a double stroller, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one. I had thought about buying a double Bob. I ended up finding a Phil & Ted double jogger stroller for a steal on a mommy board. Well this stroller is a game changer. I am going to sell my Bob. If you end up needing a double stroller the Phil & Ted is worth very penny. I suggest looking for a used one if you can find it. They run over $500 plus extra for accessories.

One thing I love about the Phil & Ted is the fact I can use it as a single stroller or double stroller. If I have an extra child with me I can add on the seat, but if it is just G & me it can be a single stroller. I would happily have a garage full of strollers. My husband on the other hand is not happy with me and all my strollers. I do keep it down to 2 strollers now. At one time we did have 4 strollers in our garage.

I won't be getting rid of my Maclaren! I will keep that one until G no longer needs a stroller. A friend graciously gave me that one and it's one of my favorites. It is a fabulous stroller once your child can sit up on their own. I love that it is compact, doesn't take up much trunk room, but is very sturdy. I hate cheap flimsy umbrella strollers.

4) I have been on the hunt for some "mom" shorts! I don't want some frumpy shorts that make me look 60, but I need them longer. I am not comfortable with super short shorts. I wanted distressed denim shorts. I tried some on at Target that looked awful! It was nice to be in regular sizes, but just because something fits doesn't mean you buy them. They just weren't flattering at all. The price was nice, but the rest of them looked awful.

I love how American Eagle jeans fit me. I ended up finding a pair online that I ordered. They are skinny bermuda distressed denim shorts. I ended up going to the store recently. I like a lot of their clothes, but I felt like a granny in there. All these young kids who were like 12-18 years old were crammed inside the store. I think that is a store I need to visit on a Monday evening when the mall is empty, so I don't feel so darn old. lol  Check out their jeans! They really fit amazing.

5) I changed my name on Instagram to MrsPost08Blog. I am considering changing my blog name to MrsPost08 Blog. I realized recently that I don't even have my blog name on the top of my blog anymore. I have called it Because Chocolate Can't Get You Pregnant for the longest time. The name change just seems more fitting these days. I am going to be working on updating the look of the blog in the near future. I would love it if you would follow me on Instagram

Weekly Menu - Paleo

Recently a couple people have made comments they miss my menu blog posts. I use to post them every Monday. I changed what I post on Monday's, so I stopped posting my menu. I thought I could still post my menu, but on a different day.

I have been cooking Paleo for my family now for over a year. I do make G pasta and sandwiches. I am not tempted by either of those things. The only thing I can't resist that isn't Paleo is gummy bears. Lord have mercy if those things are in the house they are GONE! I have asked Art not to bring me any even if I am having a TERRIBLE day because I have no self control.

At dinner I serve everyone the same meal. At times I do make something a little different for G. He doesn't like stews or soups. I no longer battle with him on those things. If I make stew or soup I just make something for G.  I get a lot of my menu ideas from Pinterest. I have a things pinned on my Paleo board that might not be Paleo standards, but I change the ingredients to thing I can have.

I recently bought the Wahls Protocol Cooking for Life. I strayed off some of the Wahls Protocol for a month or two. I started to feel really awful again. I have gone back to following her protocol very strictly and I am feeling much better again. Potatoes and sugar are not my friend. Once in a great while I can have potatoes, but I can't make them part of my daily menu.

I make a main dish and then pick a few side dishes to go with our main dish. I make breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week. Once in awhile we will go out to eat. I don't think we eat out more than 3 times a month. G and I might go to lunch with some friends once a month. The 3 of us will go out to dinner maybe twice a month. It's a rare thing we eat out.

Main Dishes:

Pork Loin
Chicken Pot Pie Soup
Sausages
Hot Dogs & Sauerkraut

Side Dishes:
Roasted Cauliflower
Roasted Broccoli
Roasted Carrots
Salad
Roasted Potatoes
Saute Kale
Creamed Spinach
Loaded Cauliflower

The tortillas I make at least once a month and I make a triple batch now. We all love them! I make tacos, quesadillas, and enchiladas with the tortillas. When I make them I have to eat one as soon as they are completed. They are just delicious!

The pizza crust I make from Juli Bauer Cookbook. It's the best crust! I make my own tomato sauce. I will put mushrooms, spinach, scrambled Italian sausage and Daiya cheese. This fixes my pizza craving every time.

What are you having for dinner this week?

Monday Thrive

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a nice weekend! It has been soooo hot for us. It has been running in the high 80's. Thankfully it has been cooling off at night, so the house cools off too.

1) I have been going to the thrift store for the past year and a half to buy G jeans. I usually buy him 1-2 pair from Gap. I buy him 5-7 pairs for play at the thrift store. I usually can buy them for about $1.50-$2 a pair. Depending on the brand and condition I will pay up to $4 a pair.

I have a system I use when I am at the thrift store. I start a pile of his current size, must have an adjustable waist, straight leg and the knees need to look good. If they don't fit those requirements they stay on the rack. Once I have a pile I then go through my pile and pick out the best pairs. I went to the thrift store last weekend and I was able to score 5 pairs for $11. One pair is a 5T, but they were in really great condition for only $2.25. If the jeans get ruined for whatever reason I am not upset because I got a deal on them.

2) I recently bought a new tumblers. I don't want to use plastic cups anymore, so I bought a stainless steal one on Amazon. It's a Haute 30 oz tumbler in a light pink. Let me just say this thing is AMAZING! I left it in the car twice on days when it was 80 degrees for up to 4 hours. I had ice water in the cup. When I returned to the car there was still ice in the thing!

I bought these straws to go with my tumbler. I really like them. When I run the dishwasher I just through the straws in. I have enough to rotate.

The instructions for the tumbler said not to put it in the dishwasher. I have been diligent about hand washing each time. I love this thing! It is worth the money especially for the summer! I took it with me to the zoo last week. It fits in my stroller cup holder. I had nice cold ice water through our entire zoo visit. If you know me then you know I drink A LOT of water. Water is so important for your health! Make sure you are getting your water in each day.

3) I have talked about BeautyCounter's Mattifying Powder during a previous Monday Thrive. I have to say again how much I just love it. This past weekend like I said it was really hot. One morning I didn't put any powder on after I did my make up. Usually I put on my concealer, then put on some powder. Once I have completed all my eye make up right before my mascara I also put on the powder. I have noticed it helps my mascara stay in place better all day. Well I noticed a HUGE difference by not using it at all one day. Possibly from the heat too but I looked like a raccoon half way through the day. I don't have a problem with my eye make up coming off if I use the powder.

4) Can we talk about toddlers and straws? Why do they need to bite the ends of them? This cup was like 5 minutes old and already the straw was destroyed. A week later this same straw is bitten up half way down. I had to buy more sippy cups since we stopped using bottles. It has been 3 weeks since we took his bottles away. He doesn't ask for them anymore. Once in awhile he will mention them. If he wants milk he is happy to have it in a cup.

5) I took Bart to work almost every day for 7 years. I usually had a good store about the riders at least once a week. You do become immune to the insanity going on around you. I learned very early on to put headphones on or I would end up being highly annoyed every day on my commute. I don't have patience for nonsense in the mornings and some of these folks - holy cow!  Well last week I took G to San Francisco. On the way home we were at one of the stations. I looked to see some person sleeping on a bench, but they had so kindly taken their shoes. It cracked me up! They weren't on their couch. People walk all over those benches, so they could have kept their shoes on.

No More Ba Ba's!

The day has finally come to take away G's bottles. No mommy judging here folks. Yes, I 2.5 year old still had a bottle up until now. He LOVED his bottle. Like he would dance around when I would make them. The boy has been potty trained for awhile, but still had a bottle. He was at the point he could make his own bottle.

G would have bottles throughout the day, nap time and bedtime. I didn't limit how often or how much he had. He only got almond milk in them. The boy thinks sparkling water is juice, so he didn't get juice in them. Most of the time I would give him one if he asked unless it was right before a meal. He had a bottle day 1 in the hospital. My milk hadn't come in and his sugar was low. I didn't freak out about it. I knew I would nurse and it would all be ok.

He ended up with jaundice pretty bad. We gave him bottles of pumped milk to make sure he was getting enough milk to get the jaundice to pass. He ended up LOVING bottles and didn't want to nurse. I had to really work with him to get him to nurse. He would SCREAM his head off because he wanted a bottle. Once he was able 6 weeks old it clicked and he nursed until he was 15 months.

I pumped until he was a year old and gave him bottles. Once he was a year I switched him over to milk. I would nurse him when too until we weaned. The kid has had bottles his entire life. I was the one not wanting to take it away. Art on the other hand was ready to take them away. I told Art we would take it away on a Friday that way if we needed a nap from late night or middle of the night crying we could take one on Saturday and Sunday.

I didn't want to take them away because I have felt this might be my only baby. I wanted him to be a baby as long as possible. This year though he started sleeping in a regular bed, potty trained and will be starting preschool. The time has come that the bottle needs to go. A couple days before we took them away I stopped giving him a bottle during the day. I also would talk to him how his bottles would be going away. Bottles were for babies and he needed to give them away now.

I knew though the first day was going to be awful! I figured the first day he would cry throughout the day. He ended up falling asleep in the car for his nap. I was able to move him inside and he still napped for awhile. When he woke up from his nap he normally wants a ba ba. I gave him a cup of milk and he happily drank it. Probably only the 2nd time he has drank milk out of a cup. If I gave him a cup in the past with milk he would say no ba ba. He would refuse a cup of milk.

Now let's get to bedtime. Oh lord! He loves his bottle of milk before bed. We read a couple books, he has his milk and he goes to sleep. We have a good system down. I knew bedtime would be rough. He went ballistic that I tried to give him a cup of milk for bed. He was screaming no babies take ba ba. more ba ba. I showed him how there were no ba bas in bottle drier, dish washer or fridge. It went on for an hour. Finally he crashed. He woke up at 5:30am asking for a ba ba. I told him sorry we don't have any.  I offered him a cup of milk, he drank a little and went back to sleep within 15 minutes.

He asked for a bottle the next day. I would say sorry no bottles. He usually went to do something else. He had a couple cups of milk. One time he had a major meltdown crying for a ba ba and for tv. Neither of which were an option at the time. Over tired and change is rough on my kid. Nap time went a lot smoother. He took a cup of milk and crashed. A couple days after his bottles were taken away he was really upset. He was crying and VERY dramatic. He told Art all my baba's are all gone. whyyyyyyy whyyyyyyy!!!! He was crying, big tears just so upset as he said whyyyyy whyyyyy. We didn't laugh at the moment, but later we were cracking up after he went to sleep. It was so dramatic and hilarious.

If I had to do it all over again I would have taken the bottle away when he was a year old. At one I would have just offered a cup. I just was worried he needed the extra calories. He has been such a skinny kid. I also wanted to keep him a baby for awhile too. I don't regret letting him keep his bottle. I just feel it would have been an easier transition at one than at two and a half.

Monday Thrive!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and all you mother's had a Happy Mother's Day!

1) I wanted to start this Monday Thrive off with one of my favorite new BeautyCounter products! I recently decided to try the Tint Skin. I don't wear foundation very often. Lately I have felt I wanted to wear it more. Even out my skin and to help my make up stay in place. I decided to try the Tint Skin about 2 weeks ago. Normally if I wear foundation for a week straight I will start to have breakouts along the sides of my face near the hairline closest to my eyes. The breakouts can get pretty bad.

I have been wearing the Tint Skin for over 2 weeks and my skin is still great. I love that I can apply it with a foundation brush over my entire face. It doesn't feel like I have anything on my face. Half the time I forget I even have a foundation on. It is so light weight! It has great coverage, but isn't heavy. I really hate heavy products on my face. I ended up going with the sand color. It is a perfect match for my skin tone. I might need to go one shade darker for the summer time. All depends how much sun I get on my face.

I included the color chart below if you need help on finding the perfect color for you.

2) I have a lot of different blog posts going through my head that I want to write. I want to write about potty training G. I started in January when he was 2 years 4 months. I have a lot of reasons why I started then and what has worked for us. Then I would like to write about recent purchases, more on Paleo, skin care routine and a Father's Day gift guide. Friday I am talking about taking G's bottles away. Yes, I potty trained him first then I took his bottles away.

3) I have really been wanting the bow sandals by Sam & Libby at Target. I tried to find them in store, but they were sold out. They were also sold out online for a little while. One day I checked online and they were back in stock. I quickly ordered my size. I just received them. I love them! They are so comfy and cute! These are going to be great for this summer.

4) G loves popsicle. What kid doesn't! I am not a fan of all the sugar and artificial crap that is added to most of them. I decided I would make him some. I could get some extra veggies in there for him too. I bought these popsicle molds on Amazon. I take a couple handfuls of spinach, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1-2 cups of fruit and blend it all. Then I pour it into the molds and freeze them. Over ripe bananas work great for these! He loves them! He calls them popsies.

5) It's hard to believe G birthday is approaching again so soon. I think this year we are going to rent a space at the park and do a jumpy house. All G wants is piecy (pizza), jumpy house and cake. At 2.5 that is the perfect party for him. That works well for me. I will just get some pizza and cake from Costco and rent a jumpy house. I need to get this all booked very soon. The summer is going to go by quickly and I am sure things will fill up soon. I really wanted to have the party at the park down the street from our house, but they don't allow jumpy houses.

Spring OOTD

I recently bought this tshirt on Etsy. I think the eyelash and lip shirts are really cute. I went out with a friend for drinks one night and wore this. I haven't worn a blazer in ages. I use to wear them all the time for work. I tried to find some similar booties like the ones I am wearing. I bought mine at Nordstrom Rack on a great deal! I found a couple pairs that are similar I linked below.

Tshirt: Etsy
Blazer: Old from Target (similar)
Booties: Nordstroms Rack (similar) (similar

I love these jeans! I wear them at least 3 times a week. Sometimes I have to force myself to wear something different. I have 2 pairs. I bought a pair at Gap and American Eagle. The pair from Gap I got for like $10. It was the only pair they had or I would have bought a second pair. I just love them because they are so comfy, cropped and they don't sag. I really like cropped jeans because I can wear them with booties, sandals or my converse. I don't have to roll them up at all. They are just perfect!

I bought the sweater from Nordstrom Rack a few years back. It's a staple. Just a simple crewneck black comfy cardigan. I can't find anything on their website currently that is similar. You can find this type of sweater anywhere. Target even sells them.

Sweater: Nordstrom Rack
Jeans: American Eagle
Booties: Nordstroms Rack (similar) (similar

I recently bought this dress from Old Navy. I have been on the fence about this dress over the past year. I LOVE it, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to wear a form fitting dress. I decided that I needed to stop being over self conscious. This dress is the perfect dress for summer! It is comfy, cool and covers enough while chasing a toddler. I wore it recently when it was 89 degrees! We were dying from the heat. We went from the 60's to almost 90. I suggest you add it to your wardrobe!

Boy Mom!

I love being a boy mom! Growing up I had mostly boy dolls. If I was able to pick which doll I wanted I always picked a boy. Maybe because I was partially a tomboy growing up. I liked boy toys better than girl toys too. I was happy with trucks, guns, legos etc. If I went through a toy catalog I picked probably more boy things than girl things. Back in the day there wasn't girl legos.

When I got pregnant I tried to time it all, so we would have a boy. I prayed God would give us a boy too. In my gut I knew I was having a boy. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to jinx it. lol When I found out G was a boy I cried. It was one of my favorite moments of being pregnant. Being pregnant wasn't easy for me at all. Hearing it's a boy just brought me to tears!

Boys are tough! Kids are tough! Each one is tough in their own way. I have a very stubborn boy. What did I expect when his dad and I both are very stubborn. He makes me laugh every day. Lately more than ever. We recently did fire drills with him. We would have the smoke detector go off and talked with him how we have to get out of the house. If he hears it he needs to yell "momma fire" and head to the door. He was yelling for Sammy to come with us. Bubba come on fire outside he would tell Sammy. One time Sammy wouldn't go. I told him if Sammy doesn't go with you then you have to leave him. Well a few days after we did these fire drills he decided to pull a prank. He yelled MOMMA FIRE really loud. We then had to have a talk how we don't pretend there are fires.

He recently got this tent for Easter from my parents. He loves it! Him & his friends will play in this tent like crazy. He can zip it up himself now. He will get inside and hide. When he plays hide & seek he is not a good hider because he ends up laughing, talking or giggling. I love this stage! So innocent. Like when he closes his eyes he doesn't think you can see him. I play along with him. I will say oh man I left G at the store. I better go back to get him. He will yell aaaarrrrggggg I got you.

G doesn't really care what clothing he wears for the most part. Once in awhile he will protest. I usually just give in because for the most part he could careless. One day he told me his camo shorts didn't fit. He wanted to wear shorts like da da. Ok that is fine because he wanted to wear khaki shorts. Shoes are the one thing that have always mattered to him. He has picked out shoes since he was about a year old. Lately he wants to wear his rain boots with shorts. Yikes! Blue camo shorts with green camo rain boots. As long as we aren't going to the store I just let him go.

I love being a mom and I love having a boy!!!

Monday Thrive!!!

It's crazy to me that it is May already! I feel like this year is just flying by. I was going to say I felt like April flew by, but I feel March also flew by. Last week we had some amazing summer weather! It was in the 80's for a few days. We wore shorts almost all week. Shorts and flip flops are my favorite things!

1) I have been uploading some of my posts to Pinterest lately. I go in stages with Pinterest. Sometimes I go on there a lot and other times I just go on to find a recipe. I do look for meal ideas and paleo type recipes often. I pin a bazillion projects I would like to do that never happen. If you want to follow along with me on Pinterest you can find me under MrsPost08. My goal is to complete some of those projects in the month of June. G will be going to preschool. My goal is to go to yoga a couple times a week and work on projects the other days. You can follow along with me on Pinterest by clicking the Pinterest button on my blog page upper right corner.

2) BeautyCounter has a beautiful new gift set out for Mother's Day. It comes with a lip sheer, blush, mist spray and a white make up bag. I have talked about how much I love the lip sheers in the past. I love their blush too! I wear the powder and cream blushers. They just are fabulous at staying put! If you add the mist spray to your make up it really helps set it for the day.

3) I usually keep a blanket over our couch cushions to help with spills and dog hair. I keep seeing these pet covers that covers. These things kind of remind me of the plastic covers that people in North Dakota use to keep over their couches. I remember sliding off couches as a kid. Or in the summer you would get stuck to it. It sure kept those couches from looking brand new even after the springs were worn out. I decided to order one from Amazon for less than $25.

I just love this thing! I wish I had bought it years before. It keeps all the pet hair off the couch. Sammy likes to lay on one couch which annoys me. It's our newer nicer couch. I have just got done fighting him over this couch and now keep it covered. I also feel like a granny now that I have this. lol

4) I have been on the hunt for a non-toxic and fragrance free dry shampoo. I have been using an organic baby powder that was just not doing anything. I have felt frustrated because I have needed to wash my hair way too often. I HATE washing my hair! I decided to try LuLu Organics Hair Powder. It is a little pricey. I decided to try the 1oz size just to see how I liked it. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and I really like it. I sprinkle it on my hair at night before bed. I pat it into my head, but I don't brush it in. I let it soak in over night. It really helps soak up any greasy hair. I can now wash my hair once a week.

5) Can we talk about Birkenstock's? I bought a pair of the Gizeh's last summer. I wore them on and off since then. They are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn in my life. I have tried to break them in, but it doesn't seem to be helping. I keep hearing people rave about how comfortable they are. Is it just my pair? Or my feet? I want to love these. I want them to be comfy. I need some comfy mom shoes for summer. I tried to wear them the other day and within 5 minutes I took them off. I went back to my Tory Burch flip flops instead. I seem to wear my Tory's or Havaianas all summer. What are your go to summer shoes?

Natural Deodorant Review!

I have been on the hunt for a natural deodorant that actually worked! I started using Tom's probably about 1.5-2 years ago. It worked ok during just a normal cool day. It didn't work if I worked out. I wanted to try another brand that had more natural ingredients. I decided next to try DoTerra. It was AWFUL! I tried it for months. I smelled like garbage unless I was just sitting down. I have heard you need to give it time for your body to adjust and detox your arm pits. Well it still didn't help.

I decided to do a mask under my arms to see if that would help. I did the Aztec Indian Healing Clay for three days. You can find this mask on Amazon or at Sprout's. It was about a $1 cheaper at Sprout's. I bought it there only because I saw it while I was grabbing some groceries. I would put it on and let it dry while I took a bath. I did both arms at once. I started using Schmidt's Deodorant as soon as I did the mask. Can I just say I LOVE this deodorant. It works! I don't smell at all even when I work out. I went for a run and I didn't have any trouble with smelly pits. I bought my deodorant on Amazon, but I have heard Target is now carrying it. I am going to check on local Target to see if they have it. I will just pick it up from there going forward if they have it.

There are so many natural deodorants out there now. I have read other blog reviews on what worked for people. Schmidt's seemed to work for a lot of people, so I decided to give them a try next. Let me know if you have tried any of these deodorants and if they worked for you. What is your favorite deodorant?

Happy Birthday Art!

Today is my husbands birthday! We celebrated it over the weekend with family. We all went to the Oakland Zoo then we came home to bbq! He asked for a vanilla cake with a custard filling. I decided to just order him a cake. G was so excited for cake! He has been to birthday parties for the past 2 weekends getting his fill of cake.

Mother's Day Gift Ideas!

Mother's Day is right around the corner! I decided to put together a gift idea that I would actually like for Mother's Day! What is on your list for Mother's Day? Are you buying a gift for your mom, mother in law, sister, friend or yourself? I am not sure there is anything wrong with picking out your Mother's Day gift! Tell your husband exactly what you want that way you will be very happy when you open your gift. :)

I really love the Steve Madden blush perforated shoes! They are perfect for Spring and Summer! Blush has been one of my favorite colors the past year or two for clothing, shoes and accessories. Such a beautiful neutral!

BeautyCounter's lip sheers are the most amazing things on your lips. They are so hydrating!!! They have this amazing vanilla smell to them too. I have the twig and plum colors. I wear them constantly!

I have been using some random exercise bands I have to tie in a knot to work. I need some of the exercise loop bands that don't require tying to get in a workout. lol Have you tried exercise bands? They really are amazing! Your legs, thighs and butt will thank you the next couple days after you use them. Thank you by hurting like a mother!

I recently saw on Facebook an ad with these amazing Tom Cutout Sandals. I fell in love with them instantly. I rarely wear heels these days. I don't find them toddler friendly. I am usually going for walks, going to the park, shooting squirt guns or something else toddler related. I do think they would be super cute for a date night or a night out with friends.

Who doesn't love a floral print? I love this sweet wrap floral maxi dress! It would be cute with those Tom Cutout Sandals or a pair of Sam Edelman leopard sandals! I have a couple pair of Sam Edelman sandals that I wear with everything. They are such a versatile sandal that will go with any outfit.

Now to finish off your Mother's Day look you are going to need some cute earrings! I have had my eye on Kendra Scott Tessa Earrings for awhile. These earrings will go great with a casual or dressy look. I wear my tag necklace almost daily. I love to add in some fun earrings. These would go great in a fun bold color too.

I would love to hear what is on your wish list! Happy Mother's Day shopping!!!!
